There are so many wonderful 3D pear patterns from designers like Annie Beez Folk Arts and Threadwork Primitives. This finish may look intimidating, but you can do it! Join us for a fun day of learning how to assemble a stitched pear. You will receive the “Deep in the Heart of Texas” pattern before the workshop. Choose your favorite fabric and floss and bring your stitched piece to the class. All other supplies are provided. We can’t wait to see how you personalize your pear!
The following supplies are provided for the class: Fabric, Interfacing (there will be irons at the class), Felt for leaves, Stem, Thread to assemble the pear, Sharp needle, Pencil, Marker, Pattern
Participants should bring: Stitched piece, Basic sewing supplies, Fabric scissors, Floss that matches your stitched piece (you may not want to use silk), Alternative fabric if desired

Date: 8/16 9 am to 4 pm
Lunch: Potluck
